New battery displaying incorrect percentage & dying around 30%.
Hey all,
Just replaced my Macbook battery and the charge is lasting a fantastic amount of time! Only problem I’ve run into is an inaccurate display of charge. For instance, Coconut Battery displays it at anywhere from 95-99%, while the icon on the top bar displays 100%.
I was in the process of calibrating it after an SMC reset, but noticed that it went to sleep at around 29%. I know we’re supposed to wait at least five hours so it fully drains before charging again, so I was concerned that it wouldn’t be enough time if it was still so high.
Any advice on this? Here are specs on the battery:

You'll need to talk with the seller of the battery to get a replacement battery.
