so here’s this iPad showing just back light but nothing else. I was thinking of replacing the LCD and fixing the issue this way buuuuutttt I didn’t wanna spend the money on it just yet without getting some feed back from you peeps? Can this be an lcd issue or something else??

This is quite common, i know this might sound ridiculous but if you hold the iPad and give it a decent smack on the back it may well just fix your issue. Let me know how you go

@will91491 You sir are a flipping genius!!!! I can’t belive it actually worked! I laughed and then went ahead and did it anyway and BAM!!! It’s working!!! This is quick fix, fix the same problem in other models??
Haha im glad to hear it worked for you, i have done this to many iPads that customers have brought into me over the years and i haven't had any come back doing it again, so i think it's a permanent fix but if it does it again you know what to do! It was most common on the 2nd/3rd & 4th gen models
