Can't open the hood
hood latch cable is loose. will not disengage hood latch. can’t open hood. how do i open the hood?

I have opened many broken cable release hoods using a long thin screwdriver shaft working through a front grill or just under the lip of the hood. It helps to have images of the hood release mechanism taken from underneath the radiator valance top panel where the cable release typically connects to the actual latch levers etc. Even better to have access to another working hood release car of same model and age.
