MacBook Pro 13" (early 2015) cable or full display broken?

My MacBook pro’s screen has a section on the right of the screen not working with vertical pixelated lines showing as well.

Is there a way to tell if I just need a new cable or full screen?

I opened it and re positioned the cable and didn’t see any change. If I press certain parts of the screen there will be a line that works that shows up in the blacked out area.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Note: Difficult to see but the strip of pixels show up above my finger actually displaying whats on the screen

Bad screen. If it changes by applying pressure on the screen at those spots it’s the display panel going bad.
