Do you have a DMM (digital multimeter) and know how to use it?
Initially you will need to check if there is any standby power coming from the PSU board in the receiver. If there is not then there is a problem in the PSU, if there is then it is further into the circuit of the receiver.
Here’s an image from the service manual(s) - see links below, that shows the no power troubleshooting flowchart.

As there are potentially lethal voltages in the area where you will be testing BE SAFETY AWARE! If you don’t know what you’re doing then DON’T do it. Leave it for the experts.

The first link is for your particular model and shows the basic connections.
The second link is more detailed and is referred to by the manual in the first link that your receiver circuitry is equivalent to a X-HM11-K/SYXE8 which is found in the second link. Hopefully this is not too confusing.
