I replaced my laptop battery and now the computer won't turn on, it does turn on with power cable and without the new battery, it also turns on with the old battery plugged in, I also noticed that the battery LED is blinking constantly with the new battery installed

Faulty replacement battery I’d assume. I recommend contacting seller for a warranty replacement.

I am guessing that you cannot charge them up without turning on the laptop?? Make very sure your model number of laptop matches the required battery, its easy to get the wrong one, I just bought 2 replacement batteries and both of them are fine, my only complaint is they only last for 2 hours each.
