iPhone 6s Water damaged, drawing 0.435A

Hi everyone, was hoping someone would be able to help with regards to fault finding.

I have a water damaged iPhone 6s, that with a known good battery in will draw exactly 0.435A when plugged in and just sits there, I get no display and nothing else happens.

With regards to finding the fault, where would I start?

I am not sure what equipment you have to diagnose the problem. Assuming you have the bare minimum.

1.       It most likely has a short so we need to find what power rail.

2.       Find the schematics for the phone.

3.       Remove the board from the housing.

4.       Start diode mode testing with your multimeter.

Compare readings with a good phone and let us know what you find.
