kudk03ctss0 will not stop washing.
the dishwasher will stay on wash cycle but never finish. it has been on wash cycle for 3+ hours and never advances to rinse. if i put on rinse only, the cycle completes and cuts off.

Hi,
Does the "clean" light flash during the wash cycle?
If so is it in a pattern e.g. 6 flashes - pause - 6 flashes - pause etc or is it continuous?
Try turning off the dishwasher and disconnecting the power to the dishwasher for 5 minutes and then run a short wash cycle program to check if this has reset the control board.
Is the water "hot" or not during the wash cycle that never stops?

@jayeff no lights flash. i have not disconnected power so i will try that. i have went into diagnostic mode and let that complete. I never noticed any flashing to indicate any error but the diagnostic mode finished. [heated dry- normal -heated dry- normal: all lights came on for a second then it ran for about 15 min i saw the clean light come on once or twice] [also during the diagnostics, it switched from normal to rinse intermittently as it went thru the cycle].... the faucet water is rather hot, 140°, when I have opened it to see what's going on I've felt it...it's not HOT HOT but it's more than warm. I am trying to determine if it's the OWI or high limit thermostat . if u can tell me how to figure out which is the problem I can test them in next couple of days between family dinners. Thanks.

Hi,
I only asked about the water temp in case it was a heater problem and that the water was not hot enough and it kept waiting so to speak for the water to heat to the required temp. Since your supply is 140 F (recommended is 120 F btw) I don't think that the heater is in the mix anymore.
Try a power reset i.e. turn off and disconnect power for 5 minutes and then check again in case it was a glitch or a stuck relay in the control board.
It may also be a faulty turbidity sensor causing the wash cycle to be prolonged as it thinks that the dishes aren't clean. Just a thought.

@jayeff yes, turbidity sensor / owi sensor i think are the same thing. i will try the power reset. & yes I know the water is too hot but my dad just moved in and has not got around to turning it down yet. so is there a way to test the turbidity sensor.. i think i read the float switch also could cause this problem.

Hi,
As it is a light sensor arrangement it may be hard to test.
You could try just disconnecting it and check how it goes.
Either it won't fill/run at all or it will go through the whole cleaning cycle.
I don't know with your model as it may be programmed differently to others
