iPhone 8 back camera stuck on black screen!

I got this iPhone 8 in really bad condition. I replaced front screen , new housing , new wireless charger , charging flex cable and volume flex cable . After this I noticed that my iPhones back camera has a black screen and is not working anymore . I have bought a new flex cable and will try that and see if the problem is solved however as of now I have no clue. Have tried everything online as in resetting the phone and things like that. The flash does not also work so I assume installing a new flex cable should hopefully fix the issue however I doubt that will. Please let me know if you have any fix for this as I would appreciate all help . Thank You !

I was able to fix it by adding a new flex cable which fixed flashlight and the camera also started to work. I don't understand how both of them are connected even though they are both separate wires but yh that did the trick for me !

If the rear camera you purchased doesn’t fix the problem your next step would be to check the rear camera power rails.

This can be tricky as the phone needs to be booted, the cameras flex plugged in and the camera app opened. If you do not have a microscope and multimeter you will have to take it to a repairer.
