Minolta X-570: Film Counter Sticks at 15
I currently have a Minolta X-570. When loaded with film, it a appears to be in completely working order, except that once the counter reaches 15 the film lever will not advance any further and the shutter will not fire, so any film I put it into it will max out at 15 shots unless I open the door(!) to reset it to “S.”
When the camera does not have film loaded, the counter will not advance past 15, but the winding/advance lever still works and the shutter will fire.
The only clue that I have to go on is that I believe it behaves at “15” the way that I would expect it to behave at “36.”
I haven’t been able to find anyone else online with this particular problem, but sorry if it’s a duplicate!
