@calbuckwheat just like any other device, Rice does absolutely do nothing. It only provides you with a false sense of security that you are doing something. It does not work!

Take it out of the Rice and stop trying to turn it on or to use it in any other way. Remove your memory card. Now it is time to take it completely apart. Once disassembled you will need to clean all parts like circuit boards ribbon cables etc., with a soft brush and a high grade isopropyl alcohol solution. Check for any odd parts or pieces and post images of those if you need clarifications on this. Once cleaned, replace the batteries and reassemble your camera.
