When I type in Safari, sites I have not previously visited appear?

Basically if I go to type in something in the search bar on Safari, sites I have not been on in the past populate the bar as if I have. This happened a while ago and I scanned for malware on my PC, however none was found. For example, if I type ‘Da’ in the search bar, the site ‘daurifek.net’ appears, just for a split second, and then disappears. I was wondering if anyone could let me know what this is? This has happened with other sites in the past too. Any help would be appreciated - thanks

Yes, our computers are getting smarter!

As you type you are sending the keys the OS for spell check as well as to the local DNS service to look for things that match up. So as an example I typed ‘this old man’ this is what I got!

I’ve never gone or asked Safari for a web site or anything related.

So bottom line here Safari is smarter than you or me ;-}

But this isn't search engine suggestions - not sure if I explained properly! When I type in certain letters, as if going to google something, a random website will populate the search bar, and it's always something odd such as, ‘daurifek.net’ - when I google this site it doesn't seem very legitimate. It's nothing I've gone on before, and it is only there for a split second and then disappears

Clear the history cache under the Safari menu, also go to Safari Preferences and review your Search settings.

I would also run a good antivirus and malware apps to make sure nothing is hiding.
