My LCD screen only shows when a flashlight is shined into it?
My psvita slim has working buttons and working touchscreen and sound. but the screen can’t be seen unless you flash a flashlight directly onto the screen.

Your backlight is out have you recently dropped it or opened up the case?

yes i have opened up the psvita

It seems like the display ribbon cable to the motherboard is for both the screen and the backlight it could be that the ribbon cable is not fully installed. I’ve never actually worked one of these so I’m not certain, another possibility is the backlight just died, in which case you’d probably have to replace the whole screen
