Can I put a 700r4 transmission in my 1994 corvette

You can put any transmission in any car it just depends on what kind of modifications you want to make. My guess is it should physical fit in but I can't guarantee that it will mount on the current crossbar. You might also need a different drive shaft if the length of the original transmission is different. The ecm/pcm will not recognize it and the speed sensor might not work. But I believe it can with a 700r4 transmission and you could pick up the parts if they are different. You can actually bypass the computer controls to lock the converter by putting a check ball in above the servo. I would get some measurements of both transmissions online and check the output shaft diameter and spline count and see if they are the same. The speed sensor might even be the same. But it will turn on the check engine light on because the transmission will not connect to this ecm/pcm. Good luck
