Hiya, i have some rly nice fairylights for my bedroom, but the only hurdle of having these beautiful lights up in my room is this stupid stripped screw which is in the battery compartment! And on top of it all, the manafacturers I think did put it a little further in! Only a little bit though! Ive tried nail clippers, nipper, nothings working so far! Any help??

Go to the hardware store and get a suitably sized screw extractor set - example only.

Jayeff I believe she is talking about a battery box that is very small and the screws are also very small. It also sounds like the screw is not stripped but the head is rounded off. I asked for a picture to know exactly what the problem is.
I agree but screw extractors can come in small sizes and if the head is damaged then you can screw into it anyway.
Another alternative is simply to drill the screw head off with a same size drill bit as the head and lift off the cover and then remove the rest of the exposed screw with pliers etc, but you need a steady hand not to damage the screw recess hole or the case too much when drilling ;-)
