I placed the home button back the same way it was, however when I lay the screen down and try to hit it, there’s too much space and it ends up pushing back and or moving . How do I fix the middle button so that it fits properly ?

The old adhesive on the home button bracket can not be re-used. It should be cleaned off very well and replaced with adhesive like Tesa 4695 (PET red double sided tape transparent adhesive equivalent is ok) or 61395.
Additionally with B7000 liquid glue around the bracket edges on both sides with some of it also on the rubber gasket of the home button.
This will require 24-48 hours to fully set and that’ll fit snugly.

So I should glue the button in place and use the red tape to secure the black bar down ?
Yes, be careful where the glue is used should be only on the black rubber gasket portion and around the sides of the home button bracket (black bar).
I secured the bracket down but it still seems like there is too much space in between the bracket and the home button . And if I can’t glue the home button to the screen how do I fill the space ?
Could I put some red tape on the back of the home button ? Because after all that it still keeps moving due to space
That may be due to the thickness of the digitiser. If it is depressed too low you can bend the middle of the home button bracket closer to the home button slightly to fix that.
Don't add red tape behind home button that will stop it from clicking. Is the little black dot there on the home button clicker on the orange sticker?
It’s a new home button due to my other one shattering . So I bought it brand new from ifixit. So I would say yes . I’ll try bending it a little @benjamen50
