ipad 6 digitizer replacement won't sit flush in housing

I just finished replacing a cracked digitizer on my ipad 6. The home button and everything works as it should. I have not stuck the screen down yet though because it won’t sit flush in the left side toward the bottom. The LCD is pushing it up right there because it doesn’t sit flat. the home button does though. its just in that spot. the housing is not bent either.
