Why does my XP-440 make a loud grinding noise when I turn it on?
Just changed ink on Epson XP-440 printer. Had to disassemble and clean some of the parts to get black and magenta to unclog, and then had a tough time reassembling it. When cartridges fully reinstalled and machine turned on, the cartridge carriage moves all the way to the left, gets stuck, and makes a VERY loud grinding noise. I can get the cartridge to move left and right on its own when the machine is off, but it gets stuck on the left when it’s turned on. Error code 000031 also shows up, but I can’t figure out how to fix it. Any ideas on how to repair this?
