Laptop won't start up

I must have had a power surge because my laptop’s MagSafe adapter is burnt out, as well as the I/O Board. I ordered a new I/O Board from ifixit, and replaced it, but it still doesn’t start. I noticed another burned place on the logic board and have attached a picture. Does this mean the entire logic board is bad and needs to be replaced? If so, is it worth it?

Update (10/14/2020)

That makes sense. Now I see water stains on the inside of the case. I’m attaching closer pictures of the logic board. I do see one more area that looks like it was affected by the water. It’s on the left/middle side of the board.

Ouch! Some how you got your system wet as this is corrosion damage!

You’ll need to carefully clean off the corrosion so we can see if the logic board is recoverable. The connector its self can be replaced its more an issue of the copper traces.

You’ll either need to find someone with the proper tools and skills to fix your logic board or you’ll need to replace it MacBook Air 13" Early 2018 Logic Board Replacement

You’ll want to do a deeper inspection to see if any more areas where effected before you spend too much.

Can you tell me if a new logic board would be advisable?

If you can get to a good repair tech with the needed tools, skills and access to the needed parts this is repairable!

If you just can't find someone or just have no means to get to someone then replacing the logic board is a good option here.
