My Asus X59SL's hinges are broken or just loosened, it can't hold tha screen anymore, i have to support it with something. how can i fix it? Can i order hinges and replace it for myself? They say it's a common problem with asus laptops.

Yes laptop hinges are replaceable. I just replaced my right hinge on my Dell as it shattered and had to replace some of the plastic and metal on the sides of it as well. It ran me $90 not counting labor. You can find the hinge you need on Amazon, 17.99, it says its a compatible model, and you can order any tools you are missing from ifixit.
