The teardown pictures have white dirt/lint all over them. Is that just your camera's and workspace or is it the phone itself? I thought there manufacturing process was supposed to be stringent of quality?

yes, you're right.
the lint comes (probably) from the not lint free cloth that was used during the teardown.
i think that there will be better pictures within the next 1 or 2 days
