I’m attaching video of the issue I’m facing:

Messed up screen! When sliding the Brightness control slide.

Well, the good news its not your display! The bad news is your backlight control logic within the main logic board has a problem!

This will need someone with deeper skills as you’ll need to dig into the circuitry to locate which capacitor, coil or chip if failing.

Is it fixable? Can I replace main login board? Is that easier?

@davidpetrovic91 - This is very fixable! It's the skills to dig into which component that has failed is needed. Access to the needed test gear, schematics and boardview drawings and lastly getting the needed parts.

Sure replacing the logic board would also work! But at a much higher price!

Depending on where you are located it could be as cheap as $150 USD to fix. Vs $650 for a new logic board

Ah, sweet! I was told that display needs to be replaced so your comment is amazing. I went to couple services here and they didn’t recognize the problem, they told me that LED strip stopped working (that each second bulb stopped working) and I’ll try to find logic board and replace it.

Just to be sure, this is what I’m looking for - iMac Intel 27" EMC 2639 GTX 775M GPU Logic Board

@davidpetrovic91 - iFixit is out of stock (it will be awhile before they get any in). Instead go to the URL link I posted.
