My camera sometimes will switch to a different picture taking mode, for example from automatic to manual, or from aperture priority to program without me touching the dial. It also sometimes will switch to view old photos even while it is already recording video. Any ideas on how to fix this?

has it gotten wet? even in high humidity? it sounds like stuff is shorting\bridging connections. id try to factory reset it if possible and if that doesnt work you may have to tear it down and clean contacts out with isopropyl
