P3 won't charge even after battery and charging circuit replacement

Hi everybody, hope everyone is doing well.

A couple of weeks ago, out of the blue my P3 stop charging and started presenting some weird behavior:

1. When plugged into the wall it would say it was charging but in reality, the charge percentage would go down, this would also happen with wireless charging.
2. Once the battery was at 0% it would not turn on anymore since it didn’t have any battery and there was no way of charging it back up.
3. For some reason, the phone would think it was still charging after plugging off the charger or removing it from the wireless charging dock.

I figured the battery or the charging circuit might be failing, so I decided to replace them both; the repair was effective as I could turn it on (with the little charge the new battery had) and check that everything was still working fine, however it was having the same charging issues that I was trying to fix!

Does anybody know what might be wrong with my P3?

could a MoBo replacement fix the problem?
