Why wont my ps3 turn on?

My ps3 worked fine but needed cleaned. I watched a step by step guide and took it apart and cleaned it. When I reassembled the console the red light turned on but didn't power on when I pressed it. I decided to take it apart again to see what the problem was and reassembled it. Now there's no light and it wont turn on. I'm not sure if it's the ribbon that connects the power and eject button because I might of bent it. If that's the case as well can someone provide a link to get a replacement?
