There are come pretty common ways to clean up what it being stored in your RAM. The first thing is to restart your device. This clears your RAM.
Using a different web browser, other than Chrome if it is an option, since it is a resource hog.
You can clear your Cache
Remove any unnecessary programs and browser extensions
You can change what programs run on start up
If you are ok with changing the visual, you can reduce your effects to help performance
