MacBook fails to boot on firt start but works on the scond one
After installing an nvme sata ssd with an adaptor mac os fails to boot first time but windows 10 dosen’t have this problem

Sadly you are facing the differences on how macOS and MS Windows boots. The POST process is different between them and a slow drive will fail like this. Best to get the proper SSD instead of forcing the M.2 SSD which while it appears is compatible is not fully! I’ve pulled out quite a few for this exact reason.
Time to pay the piper or you have a new MS Windows system! OWC Aura Pro 6G SSD for MacBook Air 11" and 13" (Mid 2012)
