Can I fix my headphone jack that only plays through one ear?
For about two months now, the headphones that I plug into my laptop only play sound through one ear. I suspect that I accidentally yanked too hard on my plug and thats why they stopped working, but I still tried everything I could find on the internet. Most of the solutions include using a qtip with rubbing alcohol to clean out the inside. It has not worked any of the times I tried it. I have also tried blowing air through the jack to see if that would work, but to no avail. My phone plays the headphones just fine, and it is not a software issue. Another solution I could think of was to try and move the headphone jack itself back a little bit but I can’t seem to move it. One last thing I’ve tried is twisting the headphone’s plug around to see if I can maybe get it to work from a certain angle , but that won’t work either. I have been pondering whether or not I should just open up the laptop and see if theres something I can do inside, but I am not great with that kind of stuff and I don’t want to break something on accident. Is there anything I can do from the outside, and if not then what can I do on the inside?

To help you find a replacement headphone jack, can you take a picture of all visible sides of the headphone jack?
