my phone screen is fallen off on the left side and has nearly fallen completely off. i dropped the phone on wet grass and the screen is no longer sensitive to touch. the home button is broken. i can’t do anything with the phone. if i turn it on i can see the top left corner of the lock screen but the rest looks as though it is internally cracked and is multicoloured. is there anything i can do to fix it?

If you have the confidence, you can order a replacement screen for your particular I-Phone model from several different sources on the internet. (the replacement screen will usually come with the necessary tools to remove the screen and other related screws and connectors) Some of the screens come with the home button attached. However, if the home button is the newer type that senses your thumbprint, then you have to re-use the old one. I’ve not come across any documentation where you can reprogram a new home button - it’s a security feature from Apple. If you don’t feel confident in opening up the phone, there are many places that can easily do so, such as Cellular Magician or others. If you decide to order your own screen, make sure you match it to the correct model number of your phone. P.S. Once you have the screen, check YouTube for videos on how to replace your model of screen.
