HI, I have followed the steps on the replace back plate instruction and for the life of me no matter how much I heat the phone I can not get the back to lift at all not even slightly i have tried heating to the point i need to hold the phone with a towel and tried to lift with suction cup but still nothing any help?

Hi There,
With the back glass on this device, you need to use a lot of heat. I see in your post you tried this. We use around 60-80 degrees C on our heat pad then use thin metal cards to get under the glass. Once we have that in we switch to plastic cards and run them around the edge. The phone needs to be basically so hot you cant hold it.

if you struggle to cut the glue at the plastic card stage you can apply some isopropyl alcohol to the card. Only a small amount though. you don't want it dripping into the screen.

Have you tried to use a spudger and/ore opening picks to separate the glass?
