the cd never spins up. the unit won’t let me play a cd. when i try, the door opens up. i haven’t used this in 15 years since my wife died and i’m moving now and this would be a perfect companion in my room.

@David Zabinsky Unless the problem is dirt or grime pressing the switch down, it might be unfixable.
