Can I use the 7/8th gen digitizer for the iPad 9th gen repair?

I know that the touch connector is compatible.

As you all know, the ipad 9th gen has added a true tone function, and the front camera hole is bigger. I know that the true tone function will not work if I use the 7th/8th gen digitizer.

What I'm really curious about is if the front camera and the light sensor work properly when the 7/8th gen digitizer is installed on the iPad 9th gen.

I am concerned that the 7/8th gen digitizer has a small front camera hole, which may cause problems with the 9th gen front camera operation (especially the center stage function).

If the light sensor is the same as the true tone sensor, I am worried that the automatic brightness of the device will not work when the 7/8th gen digitizer is installed.

Does anyone know?

7/8th gen digitizer doesn't have translucent sight windows for the two sensors on 9th gen, thus rendering true tone/automatic brightness function unusable.

Also the front camera bracket pre-installed on 7/8th gen digitizer will interfere with 9th gen due to different camera form factor, you will need to remove the bracket to make it sit flush.

Thank you for your reply. It is fatal that the automatic brightness does not work...
