I use the phone for online class, gaming and social media. Now im in !&&* because the device im using is super laggy it has 1gb ram 8gb storage.

Poco company should take the responsibility otherwise no body will buy their mobiles in future and they will be kicked out from the market.

There are many issues that might cause this behavior, a soft reset as suggested by @geirandersen may work, if not, first try it again after charging it for at least 5 minutes with the manufacturers charger and cable from a known good outlet. Try the forced reset again holding the power button until you see the poco logo appear, release the power button this will take at least 10 seconds.

If the phone does not respond it may be stuck in a boot loop this video shows you how to disconnect and reconnect the battery which will reset the phone without losing your data.

If that fails the problem is most likely a hardware issue. If the phone works ok while charging but not on battery, the battery is probably in need of replacement.

If none of that works it needs to be repaired ; has it been exposed to any liquid spills?

Dropping this device can cause damage to among other things solder joints repair is possible but requires board level repair. There are members in the businesses section here who can help or you can search for a local provider.

Many Poco x3 are going dead after update. Service center confirmed that its motherboard issue. And faulty updates are responsible for it. Poco company is responsible the loss of customers.( Motherboard is costing 8800Rs) if your phone is out of warranty then poco just tries to put it under the table, by ignoring the customer. Poco shud be dragged to court for bricking thousands of phones.

Same. My Poco X3 Pro just went dead suddenly. So sad.

Any luck with getting it repaired?

tarafından

Yeah, that comment was when I claimed warranty and now my phone recently died again. I've seen some phone can be revived by recalling CPU but it's still not guaranteed

tarafından

REBALLING is the word, desoldering off all small pins from the separeted CPU then use a dotted stencil to ball again the CPU to have new pins. It is tedious

Well as you have mentioned your smartphone restart automatically

Well if anyone is in this situation then you can go for force reboot

https://howtofixgadgets.com/poco-m3-rest...

If the phone is totally dead then check the battery and the patti/ flex cable sometimes water damage damages it and this cause the problem.

Hope this was helpful if you face any problem then just comment.

Start by connecting the phone to a charger, then pressing and holding the Power button for at least 8 seconds.
This is a hard restart, but it's not 100% it'll work.

If that fails, you could try a factory restore, but that will wipe your data!

I had my poco now for one and a half years.

First time happened after 9months, took it to the store, all was fine..

Then a few months after it happened again.

And again..

But I now got used to it, when it cuts out, leave it resting at least 24h, then try to start..

Someone said at least every 15 days, switch of the phone to reboot and it will stay healthy

I had the same issue after nearly 9 months of usage. I went to the service centre and they refused to repair it as the phone is an out-of-serviceable repair product or something like that, they said. In short, the company stopped making the spare parts, so the only option is that the service centre people will tell you to get a free-of-cost replacement with PocoX4 Pro (only if the previous model is still under warranty). Otherwise, you need to buy a brand new phone regardless in both cases, your data is gone if you don't have any prior backup.

Hard brick....due to updation problem do u have warranty? If u visit authorised service center without warranty it may cost 12k they will tell it is the problem with main assy. But some experts are out there they will repair it for 2.5k 0r 3k it's called reballing, reballing the processor, gfx in main assy

Mine died the first time in August 2022, after 1 year and 4 months of purchase. It was still under warranty and it was repaired in Check Republic Xiaomi service center. Now, after 9 months it died again and Xiaomi says there's no more warranty...... I will buy a new phone but it won't be POCO and probably won't even be Xiaomi..

Good evening. This Poco problem seems very widespread. Have you tried reaching out officially to xiaomi first? If you have, and they have rejected you, the best you could do is hop up on the peak of your nearest mountain and say what ever you want about Xiaomi. Either way, this will likely end in your bank account being lighter than it was before.

I had exactly the same problem with Poco x3 Pro turning off and I found out the reason from this non-English article written by a repairman. The exact cause of this problem is the excessive use of the phone and the combination of glue and tins on the Poco X3 Pro CPU. And the only solution is to go to the repair shop, and the repairman must perform the removal and re-installation steps correctly, and no data will be deleted from the phone.
