No power lights indicated that it is charging nothing .

My asus ROG Strix G531GT gaming laptop automatically shut off while playing a game one day . I was thinking “hey maybe it need to charge” So I put it on the charger over night nothing happens . No power lights indicated that it is charging nothing . I don’t know what to do .
