X1 Carbon, X1 Yoga battery not detected msg & surprise shutdowns

This is YAZ808. I am owner of x1 carbon 7th gen experiencing "The battery is not connected" and occasional shutdowns.  Apart from updating the bios and thunderbolt firmware, and resetting the battery with paper clip, seems everyone is pointing to the battery connector as being the primary problem. Please clarify. 

#1, is the issue 100% with the detachable battery with its corresponding connector and there is no issue with the laptop boards?

#2, can or should the fix be executed with the detachable battery and its connector physically detached from the laptop?  Is so, what specific operations does one execute on the detached battery?  Do the pins actually need to be adjusted, or will cleaning solve the intermittent connection issue?  Please be clear, specific, detailed, thorough.

#3, if the issue is with the detachable battery and its connector, has Lenovo recognized this problem such that any new battery I purchase will have an new and improved connector?  Or is the connector the same whether original battery or new Lenovo OEM battery I purchase now?

#4, if the issue is with the detachable battery and its connector, can an x1 carbon 7th gen resolve the issue by purchasing an after-market battery (not LENOVO OEM battery) which hopefully will have a better quality connector and not experience this issue?  And if so, what brand after-market battery? 

REPEAT, WOULD PURCHASING A NON-OEM, NON-LENOVO BATTERY SOLVE THE FAULTY CONNECTOR PROBLEM, AND IF SO WHAT AFTER-MARKET BRAND APPEARS TO WORK AND HAVE BETTER CONNECTOR?

#5, for this issue, is there anything owner needs to adjust for the battery connector on the laptop pcba board, or is the battery connector on the laptop pcba board fine -- only the connector for the detachable battery needs to be adjusted or cleaned?
