Hi,
I have to MS Surface DUO and I've swapped one side screen to other because it has a cracked screen. After swap the touch doesn't work. I installed back to the original phone, it works. Why the swapping isn't working?

make sure the ribbon cable is fulling connected to all the boards and make sure all scraws are where are supposed to be

Well try restarting your PC. If you're still having problems, check for updates: Select Start , then select Settings . In Settings, select Update & security , then Windows Update , and then select the Check for updates button.

I had same problem. I swap both displays from antoher device (locked device from ebay) to mine and touch screen is not working. if i putted back both displays to original MS duo, touch screen is working. It looks like the displays and motherboard are paired some how. Do you have sombody an idea hot to get the touch screen works on another device ?

No. I searched everywhere but couldn’t get anything on this topic. I couldn’t get the screen working after swap even if i move the screen with the driver beneath it.
So probably the screen is paired with motherboard and only work with the original device. Swapping doesn’t work. Probably need some reprogramming but there is no device exists.
I sold mine as parts btw.

Hm that is what i thought. But interesting is that i founf one shop which is selling the original displays but not idea if it is working :
