Black color doesn't work + burn-ins and flickering

My 2017 Macbook Pro can't show the color black on the screen. Whenever the color black appears on the screen, it turns green and flickers. Apart from this when i have something black on the screen for too long, it burns in to the display. And finally when I'm starting the computer, 6 dark lines are seen on the white apple logo screen.

On the right side of the display, you can see how it looks. And on the left side, I'm using the screenshot tool (which makes the display lighter).

What does an external display look like via the mDP/Thunderbolt connected display?

If the image is clean on the external then you know the issue is localized within the internal displays T-CON logic which is the small logic board thats is attached with the coming for the display assembly.

If the image also shows the same defects the MUX logic and/or the CPU's graphics logic needs repairs.

It worked fine without problems on an external display.

So, just as a small follow-up question; do you think i should buy another one? Or should I replace the display on the one I have?

@oryberg - Replacing the display assembly would be the cheaper direction. Does the system serve your needs now if the display was working properly? If not then maybe it's time to invest in a new system, but that's a big outlay.
