Wii U System Memory appears to be corrupted

So after the most recent update (8/29/2022) it seems my Nintendo Switch has decided it time to give up on life. The update has revealed what appears to be a system memory issue something I had not noticed nor was impacting me in any way until the most recent update.

I've tried accessing system memory and just get an instant failure and lock up. Went to delete all settings and that failed on system memory as well which has now kind of locked the system in a terrible loop of trying to access the delete process but unable to.

Question here is would it be feasible to replace system memory and if so, could I get steps on doing so? I'm used to dealing with PC stuff but never quite opened a console before.
