Hi,
With the engine running, transmission in park (AT) or neutral (MT) and the parking brake firmly applied, connect a voltmeter directly across the battery terminals and measure the voltage on the battery.
Be safety aware the engine is running
It should be between 13.8V and 14.5V DC.
If not then there's a problem with the alternator or the voltage regulator.
