I left my laptop on the kitchen counter and some weird concoction my sister was cooking got in it through the vents on the back panel. it stopped turning on. The only signs of life are when I turn it on the power light blinks indicating the battery is dead. Also I plugged it into the wall and nothing happened either. (this is a 2760p and not a 2740p)

Even so it was written for an Apple iPhone, the principle is still the same. Check everything carefully for corrosion etc. Post some good pictures of your motherboard with your question.
