Is my PS3 dead? Safe mode looks non-existent and HDMI is not working

Hello, before ending up here asking for help my PS3 was "kinda working" --» safe mode was not working for me and for some reason, when plugging in the power cable it took sometime for the red light to appear and when turning on it takes 2 mins at least to get into the OS, other than that it works, after some time the red light went back to appear rapidly when plugging in somehow, but the problem is: when I tried to upgrade the hard drive (formatted in FAT32 as a tutorial said to) when putting in and trying to do the button combo to get to safe mode nothing happens, doesn't get a signal or indication that it has some kind of error and needs to be formatted (even trying blind nothing changes at all), but the fan, starts at least. As a dumb person I am, I tried to connect the original HDD to my PC by USB to see if I can clone the disk but I accidentaly initialized the HDD in disk management because a prompt :| and now the original HDD does not work on the PS3. I tried to go to safe mode again but it doesn't work at all, the typical button combo does not work, all I get when trying to do the combo is ONLY one beep no matter how long I hold until it turns off. The HDMI is faulty so I tried AV and Component to try and get signal but it looks like the PS3 became a brick, I doubt it's a video problem since it was working on the OS. I even tried without a disk inserted but nothing appears too, still no signal and only the fan seems to start. In this state, with or without a disk, the only way to turn the PS3 off is by holding the power button. Is there a severe problem with the motherboard or is it bricked for good? If I can't access safe mode how am I going to format the HDDs and install the OS?
