Hi @rosemarylouise

Have you recently upgraded the memory in the laptop?

The message is saying that there's a problem with the memory modules in the laptop e.g. they're not the same or perhaps one is faulty.

First try a power refresh and check if that resolves the problem.

  • Turn off the laptop if on and then disconnect the charger if connected.
  • Remove the battery from the laptop
  • Press and hold the laptop's Power button for a full 30 seconds and then release it.
  • Reinsert the battery, reconnect the charger and turn on the laptop and check.

If still no good, try reseating (remove/replace) the memory modules and then check.

Here's a video that may help. I realize that it is not your model but it should be the same as far as the location of the memory slots. Not the easiest as they're on the underside of the motherboard.

If it still fails after doing this then most probably there's a faulty memory module or memory slot on the motherboard. Try starting the laptop, using only one module at a time to see if you can isolate which module or perhaps which memory slot is the problem.

Troquei e sanou o problema.

I replaced it and it fixed the problem.
