My new battery won't charge
Just replaced my battery and it won't charge the old battery was doing the same thing. Since the laptop is several years old, I figured it was the battery so I bought one. I followed your procedures and replaced it. It won’t charge just like the last battery would not charge.

Is the device turning on at all? And if so, is the device only turning on when the laptop is plugged in?

@wcfrey1 - You may want to get a USB-C power meter which you place inline with your charger so you can monitor the voltage as it’s happening with the systems charging logic. I often find that can focus you in on what’s happening.
