my laptop screen kept flashing different colours (purple and blue) and i powered it off and stuff. eventually it stayed a black screen then started making these white lines. now the screen is black and won’t turn on with just those lines— it keeps switching between those two

Ouch! Not good!
Time to visit an Apple Store hopefully it’s covered under warranty!
It’s either a bad display assembly or the graphics services within the M2 chip crapped out
