Hello, i bought a cheap macbook in flea market. But charger is too expensive for me at the moment. Can i try if it works by shorting power on pads without charger/ only battery? I checked battery's voltage with my multimeter and it gave me 11v so it must be charged.

If the battery has enough power you can use the batteries power, but often these batteries are not long lasting as the use older chemistry which tended to degrade.
