I changed screens and at first i couldnt snide to unlock it all the way, then I took it apart and put it back on and I could but the lock button would work. now it only does a white screen and the lock still doesnt work. whats going on?

The lock button sounds like you either tore the ribbon cable that connects the lock button and volume buttons or you shorted it with a conductive metal tool. The white screen can be a couple of things as well, it could be as simple as restoring it to get it back to normal. You may have bent an LCD pin on the board or even on the screen. Check to make sure those are straight and in tact. Do you have another screen to possibly test it with?
