How to repair an iPhone 4 following a contact with water?

Hi,

Following a contact with water, my iPhone 4 doesn't work anymore.

For information, I tried to recharge it just after the incident.

What can I do to solve the problem?

Alex VIROLAN, not knowing how bad the water damage to the phone was, I would start with cleaning the phone first. Use this guide as a general guide, It was written for a 3G but the principals still apply. Use these guides to work on your phone. Once you have that accomplished, change the battery and reevaluate. Should you still have trouble with the charging, replace the dock connector. Hope this helps, good luck.
