@rashdhan this is most commonly caused by a failed HDD or SSD depending on what your computer has. You could try to enter the BIOS of your computer on startup and see if the drive still shows in the BIOS. To work on your computer use the HP 255 G8 Maintenance And Servcie Guide to work on your HDD or SSD. You most likely will have to replace the HDD and reinstall your OS. The manual will also help you with this.
