Hi, I recently made a screen replacement over my Pixel 8a (EU-630084) with no problems.
After replacement, I did the fingerprint calibrate process with my laptop. Any error received, but after reboot my phone, the diagnostic process says the fingerprint FAILS. What can i do

I completed replacement yesterday, same issue.
Is there a missing instruction ?

Yes ensure that while you are changing the display kindly see the connector of fingerprint scanner is properly connected to displays connector or glass was clean and neet
I'm not sure how this is answered? I'm facing the same issue

You need to ask for a new replacement. The new one maybe works fine
