Xbox 360 S Eject button to boot doesn't work right away
I have a never opened Xbox 360 S and I've seen this problem on a few others but I'm too new to all of this figure out what is going on.
If the 360 has been unplugged for awhile and I plug it in, then push the eject button I hear a beep and nothing happens. If I wait ~30 seconds then try again it will beep, power on, and open the disk tray. If I spam the button I continue to hear the beep but it will only work after ~30 seconds. The power button works every time without issue.
I have another 360s that I can test with and I'm able to plug it in, power it on with the eject button, put the game I want to play in, close it and by the time it has booted I'm able to launch the game.
I'm thinking I should recap the "broken" one because that's my only guess. It takes awhile for what ever capacitor to charge and allow it to boot. However, Why would the power button work when the eject takes time?
anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!
